This place is right down the street from me - hadn't been in a while, but the current inventory is pretty awesome.
Yep, it's a real one..
11k miles on this NSX
And parked outside, a GT3
I just remembered, the Powerball drawing is tonight. $110M? That'll do..

Wow. Don't see too many legit 427 Cobras around. Where is this?

That last one ... says turbo on the butt, the front also screams Turbo . Also has the wider rear ... I'd say that is a 997.2 Turbo.

The orange Defender they have outside is incredible.

Be still, my heart. A real 427 I'm having a crisis.

I thought it was in Southport! I haven't been inside in a while. I'll have to drop by to drool over the cars soon.

I have a video clip of him firing it up in the showroom while I was there. THAT caused a personal crisis.

I saw the spoiler and thought it was a GT3 - my bad.

Have you been there? Real eye candy for motorheads; the inventory changes often.

Oh yeah. I'm local, and my parents live around 5 minutes from there. Love that place. Dragone, too.

All is good. The car has probably had its fair share of modifications, just judging from the non-stock exhaust and mega fixed wing.
BTW, did you notice that the lack of standard turbo spoiler/air inlet combo resulted in a kind of NACA duct to feed the engine in the butt some air? Interesting way to go for sure.
The 997.2 Turbo front looks brand new 'til this day. Wish I could run out the front door and buy one.

Never been to Dragone, but looking at their site it seems they specialize in pre-war stuff which isn't my thing. CCG gets cars from the 40s and 50s on occasion, but it's the exception.

Alan and Steve are great guys to BS with about cars, and they know their stuff. It's nice being so close by when I need a gearhead fix, too. I have a few questions re writing if you have a minute. Could you ebuzz me? kingfish at hotmail dot com

Defender 110, right? I remember seeing that a few times driving past. My old roomie bought a Def 90 new back in '95. I recall thinking it was a cool truck if a bit underpowered. And A/C was a $2000 option. Those cheeky Brits..

These things go for $100k+ now, which is ridiculous since they're ubiquitous in Britain. I'd love to own one in the future once the good ones get imported (after the 25 year restriction).
